Meet The Rebels Picnic

New Market, VA—May 6, 2010: The New Market Rebels are inviting Rebel fans everywhere to Rebel Park on Wednesday, June 2nd at 6:00 for the annual Meet the Rebels Picnic. A covered dish is requested. The Rebels will play the New Market Shockers of the Rockingham County Baseball League at 7:30 that evening and there is no charge for either the picnic or the game. Please come out for some food and fun as we kick off baseball in the Valley this summer.

The next evening on Thursday, June 3rd, the Rebels will participate in the Valley Baseball League’s first ever Opening Night at 7:30 p.m. against the Turks at the new Veterans Memorial Stadium in Harrisonburg.

The Rebels’ home opener will be Saturday, June 5th at 7:30 p. m. against the Waynesboro Generals, which will also be Mt. Jackson-New Market Little League Night. Come out and support the little kids and the big kids that night!
