August 8, 2007 - The Valley League has announced the 2007 All-League team with 16 players honored. Waynesboro and Luray led the all-league selections with three players, followed by the New Market Rebels with two. These were the Rebels honored:

Nick Stanley, New Market
Nick Stanley (Largo, Fla.) of South Florida CC ranks fifth in the VBL with a .325 batting average and leads the league with 15 doubles. He had 50 hits, 23 runs, two homers, 20 RBIs, and 16 walks. |

Nolan Brannon, New Market
Nolan Brannon (St. Petersburg, Fla.) of Tampa hit .323 with 41 hits, six doubles, 17 RBIs, and 15 walks. |

July 30, 2007 -
Ross Fetterly (Norfolk, Va.), a sophomore righthander from Old Dominion went 1-1 on the week for the New Market Rebels. Fetterly pitched 16.1 innings and posted an ERA of 1.65, including pitching a complete game. He gave up 10 hits, 3 earned runs, three walks, lead the league with 16 strikeouts and held opponents to just a .179 batting average against. |

July 16, 2007 - Daniel Malone (Blue Springs, Mo.), a righthander from Northwest Missouri State and the New Market Rebels went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA. Malone won both games he started, pitching 14 innings, striking out 12, walking two and giving up 10 hits for the Rebels. He held opponents to a .192 opponent's batting average and gave up just one extra-base hit over his 14 innings pitched. |

July 2, 2007 - Nick Stanley (Largo, Fla.), a junior catcher for New Market out of South Florida C.C., hit .474 last week second best in the Valley League. Stanley also added six runs scored, two doubles, a home run and three RBIs to help lead the Rebels last week. This season he is hitting .345, with eight doubles, 15 runs scored, a home run and 10 RBIs for New Market. |

June 26, 2007 - Kevin Dietrich (Monroe, N.C.), a senior outfielder for UNC-Pembroke and the New Market Rebels finished in the top-five in batting average (.429) and slugging percentage (.643). Dietrich led all players with 12 hits and six doubles while adding three RBIs and six runs in seven starts last week. This season Dietrich leads New Market with a .392 batting average, six doubles, one home run and has added seven RBIs in thirteen games. |

June 19, 2007 - Nolan Brannon (St. Petersburg, Fla.), a junior first baseman for New Market, played in five games, starting four, for the Rebels last week. Brannon hit .500, led the league with nine hits, and finished tied for the league lead with seven RBIs. In addition, the University of Tampa product also scored two runs, walked once and stole a base as New Market went 3-2 last week to up their overall record to 7-6. |

June 19, 2007 - Christopher Masters (Marietta, Ga.), a freshman lefthander for New Market, went 1-0 last week with a 1.50 ERA in two starts. Masters, who plays for Western Carolina University, struck out a league-leading 22 batters in 12 innings pitched, while allowing 10 hits, only one for extra bases, and walking three. Masters held opponents to a .222 batting average as he helped lead the Rebels to a 3-2 week overall. |

June 11, 2007 - Ross Fetterly (Norfolk, Va.) out of Old Dominion University was named Valley League Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The right-handed sophomore for New Market went 2-0 in two starts with an ERA of 0.82 over 11 innings for the Rebels. Fetterly has allowed just four hits, one earned run, and struck out 12 while holding batters to just a .108 batting average against this season. He picked up two of the New Markets three wins in the opening week of games as the Rebels sit at 3-4 on the season. |
2007 Valley Baseball League South All-Star Team
July 5, 2007 - The Valley Baseball League announced the All-Star Team members including five New Market Rebels on the South Team: Nolan Brannon, Kevin Dietrich, Ross Fetterly, Christopher Masters, and Nick Stanley.
