2nd Annual Old Timers' Batting Practice

Rebels parents, host families, coaches, and fans gathered at Rebel Park for the 2nd Annual Old Timers' Batting Practice during the Parents Weekend festivities. Hitters and fielders alike recaptured the glory of their playing days and reacquainted themselves with the forces of gravity and the beauty of a well timed swing. All of the action helped participants to renew their appreciation for all that our Rebels players accomplish on the field of play. Plenty of fun, ice, and ibuprofin was had by all! They enjoyed it so much a second round was held the following day. All players have voluntarily placed themselves on the 2-7 day DL but they will be ready for the opportunity to get in some at bats at next year's event.
